Blood

I was relaxing in Jamee's room the other night when she was crafting. I had been hunting all day, so I figured that I would not have to worry.

I sure am glad that I hunted, because I got a whiff of warm, sweet smelling blood. I got to Jamee within 2 seconds of her stabbing her finger. Her scissors were a bit sticky from cutting strips of adhesive, so she was cleaning it with an eraser. Her hand slipped and the scissors stabbed her.

The scent of her blood was mouthwatering to say the least...
STOP! I know what you're thinking-literally. You're underestimating my self control. I did not do anything to hurt her. I would have to go to the Volturi if I did not have Jamee around! I helped her bandage up her finger and everything was ok. I even spent the night!
Be sure to check out Jamee's blog, she has a special announcement up that has to do with me and the pup.

The Hills Are Alive!!

One of the highlights of my day at the Summer Social was meeting Jen, and Jodi was right she is a riot! Linda had greeted me with a traditional maile lei and I learned that is the proper Hawaiian greeting but I was caught off guard with the way Jen greeted me. All I could remember was the way those mountains moved! I know I'm strong but never realized how much!! LOL!
Due to my shock, she felt bad and shook my hand. Between eating all those chocolate candies and this I had to rest my body. I must get back to help Jodi create, see you soon.

My day with the Ladies

This past Saturday, I attended a crafting social that Teri organized. Jamee, Linda, and Jodi were there as well. Jamee even has a special pocket for me in her craft bag.
When Jamee and I arrived, Kyoko and Linda were already there. I decided to help Kyoko at the check in table. I helped her hand out name tags and goodie bags.
Teri needed help coloring some images so I decided to use my new found talent and help Linda and Denise.

When Jodi arrived, I helped her sell some crafting supplies.

I even helped to sell some scrabooking paper.

Here is one of the machines that the ladies used to make some cards.

There were so many things being sold at the event, right down to beads.

With all that scent of fresh, warm, human blood flowing around the place, the burn in my throat became unbearable.

I am so ashamed, I had a little mishap...

Now come on, you really believed that? I'm Edward, I would never do something as sick and unfathomable as to detour from my vegetarian lifestyle. I found a few mountain lions, and that took care of the intense burn.

I always wondered why these ladies go crazy over chocolate. They smelled a bit funny, but I was curious.
Now I know why children aren't allowed to eat candy in large quantities. I don't think vampires should either! Sugar doesn't mix well with my venom. I just wish this thing went faster, it was way to slow for my taste.

That sugar even had me seeing double. I think. Or was that a magazine? I'm not too sure. That candy sure did have a major effect on me!
Until next time, What I want and need is to be with you... (New Moon, pg. 513)

Off to work

I finally got to meet Linda's BFF, Kyoko. She is such a sweet lady! No wonder Linda likes her so much! I think she was a little nervous about meeting me though, because as soon as she shook my hand, she said that she had to leave her office to do something. I waited and waited, but she never came back!

I decided that I was just going to have to wait for her, which is exactly what I did. She did eventually come back, and I think after spending some time with me, she finally felt comfortable being around me. She even let me hang around her office while she worked! Here I am, "staring" at Kyoko ...

Linda called Kyoko on the phone and said that she was lonely without me, so I headed back down to Linda's station. She was so happy to see me that she screamed! The people up and down the hall came out of their offices to see what the commotion was about but because I'm so quick and agile, I was able to hide under Linda's shelf. She explained that she thought she saw a giant roach, which she really, really hates, but it was nothing. They all went back to their offices, shaking their heads. I climbed up onto Linda's desk, where I stayed for the rest of the day, "staring" at her. She told me that made her very happy.

Being with Linda and Kyoko all day made me really thirsty. I desperately needed to hunt. Believe it or not, I found a zebra while roaming the streets of Honolulu. I am satisfied and content. For now.

I joined MY girls at a local summer social this past Saturday. One (or all) of them will be posting some crazy things that happened there. Until next time, think about this: If I could dream at all, it would be about you. And I’m not ashamed of it ...

Jacob?

After spending some time with Jodi, I decided to head back to Linda's place for a quick visit. Remember the last time I was there? She gave me a pair of rubber slippers to wear and she said that she thought a "dog" may have chewed on them before I got there. Well, well, well. Lookie here! As I was rounding the corner to Linda's front door, I thought I smelled something foul. Jacob! What was he doing here? I ran into the house to make sure that Linda was ok. She said she found Jacob sitting outside on the front porch waiting for her and because he looked so sad (I think he looked pathetic), she decided to invite him in. She gave him some food and water and then he was out the door in a flash. No thank you, no nothing. Just what I would expect from a dog.

Linda assured me that everything was alright and that I didn't need to worry about her. She showed me a couple of magazines she had recently read. She sure is a huge fan of Twilight. I told her I would autograph this magazine for her, but she said she didn't want me to hurt my arm. Funny girl ...

Oh my goodness! I can't believe she read this too! She must think I'm a total loser! I told Linda that I can't stand all the negative things that are said about me in the media. She said that she understood most everything that is printed about me and my social life are just rumors to sell rag mags. If only people knew the real me ...

Why can't the paparazzi just leave me alone???

Sorry, I lost it there for a moment. I don't often throw tantrums, but I think it's time to hunt soon. That's what must be bothering me. Linda is taking me to work with her tomorrow so maybe I'll be able to hunt while she's in her office. Until next time, think about this: Do you think that I could be scary?

I Finally Met With Jodi!!

Well, today I finally got to meet Jodi! Because I already had a warm traditional welcome to Hawaii from Linda I decided to welcome Jodi into my world and surprise her with a dozen blue roses. If you didn't already know, blue is one of my favorite colors.
When she opened the door to greet me, she was surprised to see the roses and immediately gave me a big hug and a kiss on the cheek. She took me to her craft room to help her color since I helped Jamee and Linda. Just when she grabbed a piece of paper she immediately got a paper cut that started to bleed. Here's what the cut looks like.

It's a good thing that Jasper wasn't here to see or smell the blood. It's even better that I'm a vegetarian.

I really had no idea what I could do to help but I managed to find a band-aid to help protect her finger and stop the bleeding.

I'm so glad that I am speedy with things, it helped when I had to take the packaging off the band aid.
Once that was taken care of we went straight to work and I was pretty used to holding the pen in one hand when Jamee and I colored.
Here's what it looks like after I was done. I still need lots of practice. Since the coloring took a while Jodi and I were not able to piece the card together and will do that another time.
She invited me to a function that she will be going to this Saturday that involved stamping and meeting the local bloggers. That is a great opportunity for me to meet others and maybe get a chance to hunt. Jodi noticed that my eyes were a different color and knew that it was time for me to hunt soon.
I'll be back to share with you my adventure from Saturday and I hear Jamee and Linda will be there too!
Until then, look after my heart I've left it with you.

Oh Well

Unfortunately, we will not be experiencing much of a tropical storm. It dissipated over night, so there will not be as much rain as originally forecasted. I was really looking forward to it. There is some rain, however, and that is nice.
I spent some time with Jamee and a few of her mother's daycare children in the patio listening to the rain.
I will be back in a few days.

Cleaning

Jamee wanted to clean out her closet the other night, and being the gentleman that I am, I offered to help. It has been a while since she cleaned it out, so we had our work cut out for us.

And I thought Alice had a lot of bags! This isn't even half of it! (Jamee is reading Breaking Dawn-again, that is why it is missing in the background)
Look at all of this! This is a fraction of what we pulled out of there. Jamee ended up giving/throwing away about half of the things she had in her room. The children her mother baby sits went home with bags of things the following day.

I recieved a few of those items myself. Now I can play some basketball. Hopefully the ball can hold up to my super vampire strength.

I got a whiff of something warm and gushing while we were cleaning. I knew it wasn't Jamee's blood, so I let my nose lead the way.
Look what I found. A tasty mountain lion.

It was one of the best mountain lions that I have ever tasted, and I didn't even have to go hunting for it.
I also found myself a flashlight. Now I'm prepared for Tropical Storm Felicia which is scheduled to hit the island of Oahu on Tuesday.
By 2am, Jamee was ready for bed. Check out her blog tomorrow to see the final product.
I'll be back in a few days. Those of you in Felicia's path, Be safe.

My Creative Side

I headed back to Jamee's house yesterday and decided to show her what Linda taught me while I was at her place. Linda and Jamee are really into crafts and this past week I learned a few things.
Linda loves her copics and showed me how to use them. So I tried my luck at it.
I believe I did very well considering it was my first time using the pens. Mmmm, if only the grizzly bear was real.

I wanted to use some buttons for my card. Jamee and her mom has quite a few to choose from.

I had a little mishap with the buttons.

Until next time, Be safe.
